The everpresent cat was already making a home at Grey Gardens in 1951.
By the way, does anyone know the origin of the name of the estate?
I had a thought, probably from something I read, that the name Grey Gardens had to do
with the fog coming in from the sea and the misty light it cast on the grounds of the
property but I don’t say that with any real certainty or conviction.
Any ideas readers?
