On this national pet week (May 3 – May 9), a moment to forget your worries, woes, and dwindling reserves and direct your attention to beloved weepettes everywhere. (This most endearing term is derived from the marvelous Belgian Waffle in describing her very own canine weepette. So apt is the description, I submit it as the official moniker for the animal kingdom at large).
Admittedly, the celebrated owners featured here are hardly a representative sampling, so feel free to balance out the inequity by submitting a little personal star power of your own.
