Imagine walking into an oasis of calm and you might come away with some idea as to why Chi Sing is one of the current word-of-mouth addresses in Berlin. This small Vietnamese restaurant opened its door in autumn 2008 and already has cquired the status of a genuine find.
Rooted in the revered culinary traditions of Huế, the ancient capital of the Nguyễn dynasty’s empire, Chi Sing has added a breath of modernity to the age-old recipes. The result is a genuine explosion of flavours, and the majority of ingredients are organically-grown products prepared with love – which is almost impossible not to notice.
Then consider the nine hundred white silk blossoms hanging from the ceiling along with the filigree drawings adorning the walls and you know immediately you have discovered a respite for your senses.
