Bob Colacello’s Out-Takes

As the editor of Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine in the 1970s and early 80s, Bob Colacello was at the center of New York’s social scene. His monthly column, “Out,” included photographs he took with his little plastic Minox. It is this disco-era collection (in conjunction with the third printing of the book Bob Colacello’s Out)that includes more than 70 vintage and large-scale prints of Colacello’s intimate images of the likes of Andy Warhol, Mick Jagger, Diana Vreeland, and Truman Capote that is currently being shown at the Steven Kasher Gallery in New York, through July 19.
