ReVisions/San Francisco

“Thanks to art, instead of seeing a single world, our own, we see it multiply until we have before us as many worlds as there are original artists.”

Marcel Proust

Peter Schulberg, founder of the nonprofit Eco-LogicalART Gallery, has a vision, a large, expansive, celebratory view of human creativity that’s turning the staid vinyl and gallery art world “inside out” with sidewalk-to-skyline displays. ReVisions/SF, Schulberg’s “drive-by” public art project is coming to San Francisco with the promise of creating a new paradigm in art that is revolutionizing the world as far as the eye can see.

Premiering on Earth Day (Tuesday, April 22), ReVisions/SF is a unique collaboration of Eco-LogicalART with display heavyweights CBS Outdoor and Clear Channel that will showcase a collection of beautifully rendered art mounted on billboards dotting the landscape across the Bay area. This same exhibit recently seen over 20 million times in Los Angeles will also feature stunning smaller works of art on vinyl on exhibit from April 22 through May 21 at the Thoreau Center for Sustainability located in the historic Presidio.

And there’s more! The winners of “Gimme Shelter Art!” an eco-art event for Bay Area middle and high school students created around the theme “The World As I see It/World As I hope It Could Be” will be announced opening night at the Thoreau Center with the winning images appearing on Bay Area bus shelters beginning in June. Public is invited. Details here. Featured below: “Consumer Consumed” by Mark Prudeaux and “Eden” by Joy Mallari. Spring is in the air. Go out there and fall in love.
