Lefty in Chief

Four out of the last six presidents of the United States have been left-handed, and the next one may be too. While only 10 to 15 percent of people write their way through life with the “wrong” hand, a disproportionate number of them end up in the Oval Office. In the past 34 years, these four leaders of the free world have been lefties:

Gerald Ford, 1974—1977
Ronald Reagan, 1981—1989 (though he switched after childhood)
George H.W. Bush, 1989—1993
Bill Clinton, 1993—2001

And now, both Republican frontrunner, John McCain, and Democratic candidate, Barack Obama, are left-handed too. [via Link]

The country has not been faced with such predetermination of presidential handedness since the three-way race of 1992, when George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and H. Ross Perot all favored the same side used by Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci to create great art.
