Fallout Shelter Handbook

Fallout Shelter Handbook, 1962, compliments of Wardomatic. Includes not to be missed “quaint” images.
“The cover is classic: your average white American family enjoying life as best as they can after an atomic attack. What I love the most about it is that Mom is in her day dress, apron and all, preparing dinner, and Dad is relaxing in his jacket, smoking a pipe, having just finished reading the liner notes to something by the Ray Coniff Singers, probably.”

Nice!
They were very “optimistic” about the outcome of a nuclear war back in the day, but they forgot to illustrate just how cramped a shelter stay may be if it were needed.
Kinda like RV camping, it only takes a couple of days for the others in the RV to get on your nerves.
