Originally used to advertise the 1998 Love: Error and Eros show at the American Visionary Art Museum’s tall-sculpture barn in Baltimore, Maryland, the neon love sign is now a permanent fixture.
Just down the street is the main building of the museum, which only exhibits work done by self-taught artists, such as a 15-foot replica of the Lusitania–made from 193,000 toothpicks.
