Concept Art

If Spielberg’s War Of The Worlds production had looked as rich and vivid as this painted concept art, we’d still be rewatching it. Concept art, or what comes to be called the imaginary ideal, is often grander and more intricately detailed than what, ultimately, ends up on the screen due to costs and real-world constraints. 1. The best scene out of War of the Worlds was the Thunderchild scene without that this movie was ruined. Also they didnt have enough of the martians or suspense plus the introduction of children ruined it even more as you couldnt follow all the plotlines. The scene on the hill would have been awesome if they had just one quick shot of the otherside of the hill with three or so Tripods firing, Kinda like the look of the first piece of concept art.
