Movie Recommendation

Movie recommendation: Out of Germany; in a class of its own. In fact, its due to its brilliance and yet, seemingly small distribution, that I mention it here. “Lives of Others” is that good you find yourself wondering why you’ve not heard of it. Directed and written by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck it takes place in 1984 in East Berlin with a plot so gripping it holds you spellbound. If you need further endorsement see The New York Times review earlier this year.  Winner of Best Foreign Film for 2007.
