Actress Dame Helen Mirren has won best actress at the European Film Academy awards in Berlin for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen, although the film which had been up for six awards lost out to Romanian drama 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days in the best film category.
