Let Them Eat Cake

If London’s skyline could be reduced to sugar and icing it would probably look like a Konditor & Cook cake — pure decadent pleasure! K&C have brought out their new winter cake collection, in the form of mini cakes proudly displaying artful sugary scribblings translated into Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral and The Gherkin.

Incidentally, the bakery has recently launched an onsite kitchen and shop at the Gherkin, making this iconic building a new pit-stop for city slickers in need of a spot of cake to wash multi-million pound deals down with.

The kitchen also offers a daily changing menu of hot and cold savouries on top of the usual Konditor & Cook cake, brownie and biscuit fare, but the real pull of the moment has got to be towards owning a slice of St Paul’s Cathedral, or Tower Bridge.

Applicable to both jaded Londoners and tourists alike, we think this sophisticated, sugary gastronomic indulgence is the ultimate gift of goodwill.
